Friendship Elementary School Art Program Summary
Our art program is designed to nurture creativity, imagination, and self-expression in our VPK through 5th grade students. Through a diverse curriculum, students explore various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and digital media. Lessons are integrated with cultural and historical themes, helping students develop both artistic skills and an appreciation for the visual arts. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and collaboration, while celebrating each child’s unique perspective. Student artwork is showcased throughout the year in school displays and community exhibits, fostering pride and confidence in their creative achievements.
