School Counseling Services - Diana Dean – Certified School Counselor

Each day the teachers and staff at Friendship Elementary put forth an extraordinary effort to care for your sons and daughters academic needs. However, we do also realize that from time to time there may also be a need for additional support for academic, interpersonal, emotional and/or behavioral needs, which is offered through the school counseling department.

School Counseling services often include individual and/or group counseling, whole class lessons, academic assistance, parent conferences, community resource information, and other services requiring counselor intervention. These services are available to all students, across all grade levels, and can be accessed via a student, parent, and/or teacher request. Parents are also welcome to make an appointment to discuss child or family needs and/or concerns. Parent permission is required for ongoing individual or group counseling.

Additionally, Chrysalis Health Services provides ongoing counseling on campus for eligible students. Your School Counselor can assist with a referral upon request.
